This Art Quilt will be On Display, hanging in my living room. I represents personal aspects of my life that are important to my history.
Woah Nelly! this post got away from me. I had some great comments and questions about the embroidery idea for my Nosegay's I wanted to let you know where this stuff comes from.
I'm probably not going to embroider inside the setting blocks [nosegay's] now that I see the fabric options pinned up from yesterday. I think it might be overwhelming. I do like that I had the inspiration to do it though. I'm thinking creatively - on my own. I imagine a nice quilting pattern there. Just deciding on that will be enough anyway.
Unpredicable Creativity Love, *karendianne.

Gorgeous! I will patiently stand in line at the ticket window for the viewing! Well done, both of you... :)
Fabulous!
I agree with you on the idea of embroidery for your nosegays. I think some pretty quilting will be really effective in the setting blocks. Did you decide on which fabric?
The embroidery really does add to the quilt. Very, very nice.
Lovely collaborative effort! It will look great in your living room.
Great collaboration. Isn't it fun when two creative minds can work together so smoothly. Love the name!
I think that the nosegays look great the way you have them positioned on your header. I know it means much more work, but it makes a natural transition and flows easily together and isn't static. Just my humble opinion. Love these nosegays and whatever you decide will be beautiful, but I just love all the colors and surprising patterns you came up with.
Oh wow, I like what the embroidery added. (I did not like that it reminded me of 2 personal UFO's that have embroidery...)
Not bad for a beginner!
The embroidery is very fun! I agree with you on the nosegays though - they will hold center stage!
Very creative to use the embroidery that way. Kudos to both of you.
You girls did a marvelous job - it's lovely! I would pay big money to be allowed a viewing of that quilt! I know you will enjoy looking at it every day.
I love this! I saw it on Debra's blog some time ago and loved it then too. So pretty! The embroidery gives it such a wonderful look.
Oooh ooh! Love the swirly, girly leaves and vines! And how the embroidery engages the edges of the Friendship Star (perfect name!) blocks!
Handing you the "Best Duo or Group" award now. *cue the croud and the applause*
Can't give you hugs now...'cause I'm still clapping.... ;-)
I love me some fussy cuts! Wonderful.
