Word a Day!!!

Word a Day:
heal
(hl)
v. healed, heal·ing, heals
v.tr.
1. To restore to health or soundness; cure with comments/continued words of never ending support and love via a Blog or email. Pretty cosmic, eh?
Knowing me, I'll probably have to come up with some sort of name for this quilt related to healing because that's the timing of it.
I'm pleased to share that I continue to heal because you are powerful healers! I managed to crawl off the sofa and sew rows 7 & 8 together. I added to the design wall row 9 but found myself a little dizzy and that's as far as I got. (No comments from the peanut gallery?! I'm not dizzy 24/7 now y'all.) But hotdamn this rocks, doesn't it? I'm really making some progress.

We've continued to receive a *&^%load of rain here in the State. Lordy Bee!!! Getting the dogs out in the pounding, drenching, sopping, soaking rain is a challenge. Finally it let up and I was going to let them out but the baby peeps are spending the day in the LeeHaven backyard. My heart melts.
~~~
I could chase them off but I thought I'd wait it out. Maybe they'll amble on over to some other house. Like the person that feeds them incessantly. Against regulations. They don't have children yet so I guess this is what she does. Young couple. I was young once. I ended up with dogs and cats and parrots. I think maybe the peeps are a better choice?
Here I've been watching the young Canada goslings grow up at the park near my office... such a wonderful antidote to the gray walls and onslaught of paper in my office!
SO glad to hear the health trend continues to be favorable . . . WOO HOO!!!!!!!!
Love the pic of baby ducks; we had ducks in our back yard when I was a kid, when I see them now I always have good memories.
Funny, but those hour-glasses look a lot like angel wings to me. It's all in your perspective......
HURRAY!!! Progress in your healing process.
Karen, I'm so thrilled that you are doing better, bit by bit.
I will continue to pray for your continued progress.
Nature is a wonderful thing, isn't it?! The ducklings are darling and so lucky that you are looking out for them.
Oh my dear friend, I've been away and just now checking in on you. Karen, you are an inspiration - the grace with which you're handling the ups and downs is amazing - your writing is clear and I know you're in there even if you don't feel that way right now! Quilting is a good sign - even if it is just a few rows, duck watching, writing - all good. Hang in there, we are all sending most positive energy and love your way.
Cheers!
So glad you're on an upswing! I hope it continues to go up and up and up! I've never understood feeding ducks but maybe that's because I've always thought of ducks as malicious little beasts. I think cats and dogs and parrots are much better!
So glad to read of forward progress, step by step, like a little baby duck. ;)
Make Way for Ducklings! What a day brightener! How cool to have water in your backyard. I bet the dogs love it! Your quilt is looking good and I know you are too!
Darn it. Here I was going to write that "hey...today's a good healing day...so let's you and me celebrate and do something together and play hooky and have fun and all of that jazz and rock...." But then I actually looked...and you wrote this Thursday.
Always a day late and dollar short. So even still...thank God it's Friday, dear friend. You've had quite a character-building week. And you've battled like a real rocker chick. Love you for that!
Speaking of chicks...that's really your backyard?! How cool is that! (But take my advice...don't go back there with bare feet.)
Saving up for a rainy day hugs....
Woo Hoo!!! You rock, girlfriend! I am lovin' that quilt! Your backyard is lovely - with or without baby ducks.
I know what you mean about getting the dogs to potty in the pouring rain. My Lucy girl does NOT like to get herself rained on at all, so I have to shoo her off the safety of the porch to the yard. She gives me a look that says "Why me?". Poor abused baby!
I'm happy to hear you're doing so well - you'll keep getting better every day!
Thinking of healing names also now...the hourglass of life.
The glass half full is on top of the one half empty.
Balance of time/life.
Need a little healing on an infected tooth so it is very topical.
