Even and Odd

Anything with this photo strike you as odd?
~~~
Pool fella really didn't know what he was doing. My shrubs are really sharp in the front. The one comes out to a tippy point in that whole ginsu knives kind of way. The Holly are intended to add balance, a good vibe, but now warn of oddity, "short stories" and "tall tales."
They intrigue me -- they're quirky. I like them. It's not oh-so-perfect landscaping that can feel rather rigid. It's sort of like big one, medium one and little one. Quirky cute.
Well, they are quirky. Better get those ginsu knives out again.
Oops. Better that than butchered bare. I kind of dig the imbalance, sort of a Mutt and Jeff entrance.
They are like a family; Mommy, daddy and wee little baby.
I've tried posting twice, hopefully third time is the charm and this will =stick=.
LOL...oh, kwitcherbichin, Karen!!! At least they don't block your front entryway!!!
I'm so bad today...think I'm starting to feel better.
Love ya, hon.
Just tell people your shrub fell asleep on that side and that's why it's branches look all askew. It looks like Sophia's hair after she wakes up!
Quirky Shrubs! I think that's the name of your new landscape design. It's all good, ROFL...
I like the asymmetrical look. Very Modern. You could always go really crazy and do some Edward Scissorhands shrubs.
Anyone can have perfectly shaped, symetrical shrubs, but yours are unique, like a little family standing there.
It doesn't strike me as odd - it strikes me as lovely. Plants all have a mind of their own, no matter how we try to 'tame' them. I like the fact that it's not the same on either side - it gives character to your lovely abode.
Aw....a visit to your porch! Who cares about the shrubs! LOL Hey girl...it is just little ol' me with a moment to spare and drop in a ya. Still in CA.
Well...you know how fabric and beads and fiber and yarn all *speak* to us, right? And they tell us just how they want to be treated? I'm thinking the gardener heard voices coming from these shrubs. ;-) Ya think?!
Like every good hairstylist HATES to hear from her newly sheared client: "It'll grow." lol
Asymetric hugs....
How about asking him to trim them into the three bears... you could be Goldilocks! Hee!
